I intended the piece to be a multimaterial experience that combines type, line, movement, and graphics into a visually successful represntation of the song. Due to the fast pace of the music I used line elements to guide the viewers eyes, highlighting the lyrics as they appeared on screen. The bulk of the typographic animation and linework was done in Adobe After Effects with the graphical elements predominantly created in Adobe Illustrator. Each element was a static vector drawing brought into After Effects to add movement to the piece. Additionally, I created a walk cycle for the character in the short in Adobe Photoshop, essentially piecing together individual frames.
